Thank you for making fiscal year 2016 the most successful year in the history of our Foundation $11 million contributed for our neighbors most in need 1 of 4 residential facilities in the world for adults with anxiety, OCD or addiction coming spring 2017 50 veterans annually to receive free residential care starting spring 2017 $1.3 million in philanthropy sustained community mental health services $1.1 million in philanthropy sustained supportive housing programs $360,000 pledged by Physicians Council Lifetime Members $410,000 pledged by associates in support of our mission 400 people received support from a cancer nurse navigator Complementary therapists made 905 visits to help individuals, including children, work through grief More than 15,000 individuals in crisis received free behavioral health screenings More than 45,000 meals provided to formerly homeless men and women 1,200 newborns received advanced neonatal care More than 1,000 families impacted by autism spectrum disorders received services 91 families strengthened in the past year through perinatal programs Care of Persons Living in Poverty and Community Benefit Programs Charity care is an integral part of the AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Health System mission. In fiscal year 2015, the Health System provided nearly $65 million worth of care to those who would not otherwise have been able to afford it.
